Meet Frank

Frank is the newest member of our family. He joined us after a trip to the grocery store.

I tell you about this not because it's news, but because Devin has quite the soft spot for Frank.

Last night Devin felt Frank needed some love. Every time he crawled past Frank, he stopped to give a kiss, then he kept right on crawling.

It was pretty cute to see Devin's compassionate side, even if it was just to Frank!

Monday keeps coming around!

I worked most the weekend, so the boys stayed home and played. Devin's Daddy took lots of pictures of our busy little guy. Devin helps mommy and daddy with putting away (or taking out) dishes

In other news, we're starting to pull everything together for our upcoming vacation. Devin sure does require a lot of "stuff". If vacation is so relaxing, why is getting ready for it just the opposite!?!

And so the trouble begins...

It looks as though sweet, innocent, little Devin has a drinking problem. I caught him two-fisting it. Milk in one hand, water in the other...

He obviously knows that this can lead to a life behind bars, if he's not careful!

Just another boring Sunday...

We went to the local park for a change of scenery yesterday.

Sunday afternoon we just hung out and played while Devin's Daddy painted some trim around the house.

That's about it...
Oh yeah - Devin took his first steps! He was standing at the couch and decided to go to the coffee table. So he let go of the couch and took two very cautious steps to the coffee table. Cute little guy was very steady. You could see him concentrating the whole time.
So the rest of the evening we tried practicing with him. He won't even try if we want him to - but leave him alone to his own devices and he'll do it!

That's My Puppy!!!

Devin's daddy was in the kitchen chopping up some banana for lunch when he heard Devin giggling like crazy.

And now we know why!?!

That little boy has been sneaking snacks to the puppies!

Noises

Devin has started "talking". For a few months now he's been babbling. Some of his babbles have been "mamamamama", "dadadadada" and "bob".
We're not saying they're his firsts words, as they're juts babbles. But it's still nice to hear "mamamamama".
Devin now talks back when we talk with him. He also opens up books and babbles as though he's reading.
Every night I sing to him before I lay him in his crib for the night. Last night he sang along. Sweetest sound I've heard in a while!
Car noises must be ingrained in boys. He'll push a car around the floor and growl while doing it. It's adorable!
Not easy to get a picture of, but darn cute nonetheless!

Just Chillin'

Most weekday evenings it's just me and Devin.
We love to play...
...especially with mommy's shoes...
...take silly pictures (Devin tries to get the camera from me all the time)...

...and mostly just chill.
