Brave Little Boy

Devin's getting braver every day! Saturday evening he was running (literally) across the living room with his new Tonka Truck. He stopped halfway across and wanted to pick something up. So he took both hands off the truck and stood there for a couple of seconds - I counted at least five. I don't think he knew he was standing on his own, as he hasn't tried it since.
Devin's Daddy was outside most the weekend painting the house, so he didn't get to see it. But I'm sure it will happen again very soon! Any day now he'll be running without that Tonka Truck!

Oh - so Devin's decided that in his favorite book, the puppy who's paws are too bumpy needs a kiss. I'll try and get a picture tonight. Everytime we flip to that page, he bends down and gives a big slobbery kiss. No other puppy gets a kiss - just the puppy who's paws are too bumpy. Too cute!

He's soooo cute Susan! Such a perfect combination of the both of you. :) That's so sweet about him kissing the puppy with the bumpy paws too! Amazing how smart they can be sometimes!
